Review Of The Month.

This hasn't been a post I've enjoyed writing over the last few months - but hey, it looks like my form and more specifically my results have taken a turn for the better.

Moving back up to $10 tables has been a great decision - but one my confidence in my game over the previous few months hasn't enabled me to make. I actually have an 18% ROI at $10, where I struggle with just %12 ROI at $5.

I have been playing shorter and more focused sessions only when I've been in the right mindset to do well. Despite playing what seems like less I've still racked up nearly 50 games and, unlike previous months, they've been profitable.

My endgame has improved and I'm playing a good pre and post bubble game - converting my cashes into wins on a regular basis - I am also fairly confident in the strength of my heads up game at the mo!

I also learnt some important lessons and read some interesting articles relating to my recent difficulties in my live game and I hope to put these into practice as early as this weekend!

Games Played: 1,532

Average ROI: 14%
Total Profit: $1368

Points Of Note:

• Continue to play in moderation - short sessions when in a good frame of mind.
• If you are up for a big sesh - play the small stake big field MTT - still getting hours of play without much of your roll at stake.
• Look to maximise value from hands, particularly in the live game - perhaps look to induce bluffs when the situation is right.

Aims For Next Month:

• Keep turning a profit in SNG online.
• Use MTT's to keep your roll out of trouble but try and do well in them!!
• Cash in the live game - and get paid with your big hands.

So I am back to form and after a long wait it feels good. I've let go of worrying about promotions and such like. I am focusing on playing good poker when I feel right. Simple!

I am up $191 online this month something I hope to match or improve on next month - as long as a keep up with the lessons learnt this month I won't be going far wrong.

The biggest rush in playing the game are those crucial decisions... Taking a risk or making a bluff..... but hey I am a bit of a gambler.
